Red Rose Awards Finalists

The Lantex team are delighted to announce that we are finalists in both the Manufacturing category and the Export category of Lancashire's prestigious Red Rose Business Awards for 2020!

The Red Rose Awards is an event that has celebrated Lancashire based businesses, commerce and industries since 2011. The event is the largest event of its kind in the UK! The awards provide lots of potential for new clients, collaborators and suppliers to join forces with, promoting success and inter-trading within Lancashire.

The Manufacturing Business award is open to producers of plastic products, chemicals, furniture, clothing, textiles, electronics and food. Judges are interested in a company’s investments, developments, techniques, skills and processes to meet the changing demands.

The export award is open to businesses that are achieving success through trade overseas. Judges are looking for companies expanding their horizons and developing new international markets.

Lantex is a textile company that prides itself on our quality and developing new pathways such as direct to garment. Lantex have been manufacturing textiles for over 100 years. We have a workforce of 26 of which 13 are Sewing Machinists and we pride ourselves on the range of products we produce. It’s all made on site here in the textile town of Accrington and any customers are always very welcome to come and see us!

Since 1918 we have built a solid reputation in the manufacturing of bespoke textile products, in that time we have gained a thorough understanding of the needs of our customers, from artisan designers to retail outlets. The knowledge and skills passed down from generation to generation is the key to our success.

This week the Lantex team will be interviewed by Red Rose judges on our export strategies and manufacturing developments! On March 12th, in Blackpool, the winners will be announced at the annual awards dinner.
