Lantex — Corporate Social Responsibility
Minimising the impact on our planet is a key driver and Lantex have strived continuously to reduce their own impact through carefully managed segregation of waste streams to both recover value and minimise landfill or incineration.
We recycle tubes and cardboard boxes and even send products back in the same packaging.
We utilise a skip for recyclable waste and, where possible, use non-plastic materials in our packaging (including materials derived from potato rice).
Recycled fabrics
Textile recycling is the process of recovering fiber, yarn or fabric and reprocessing the textile material into useful products. Textile waste products are gathered from different UK sources and are then sorted and processed depending on their condition, composition, and resale value.
We are rightly proud of our status: Manufactured in the UK. To this end we aim to use as much recycled and recyclable fabric as possible, sourced from the UK to minimise carbon footprint.
Lantex believe that businesses are responsible for achieving good environmental practice and operating in a sustainable manner.
We are therefore committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral and fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods.
It is our priority to encourage our customers, suppliers and all business associates to do the same. Not only is this sound commercial sense for all; it is also a matter of delivering on our duty of care towards future generations.
